A former Pickpocket with a conscience, has organised a gang of twenty other reformed pickpockets, to trawl London’s tourist attractions and slip money back into unsuspecting pockets.
UK Broadband provider, Talk Talk’s Chris Fitch, himself a former pickpocket, has announced the initiative in London, which will see at least £100,000 given away.
“It feels good to give something back for a change — and Britons certainly need it in the current economic climate. Every time I put money back in someones pocket, I feel less guilty about the fact I spent many years taking it out,” says Fitch about the plans for his ‘Putpocket‘ initiative.
The Talk Talk team of former pickpockets will move on to other parts of the UK with the scheme after the experiment in London.
