UK Finance: Woolwich cut mortgage rates

The UK’s fifth biggest mortgage lender, The Woolwich has announced cuts on many of it’s mortgage packages and relaunched it’s lifetime tracker and five year fixed rate loans, to buyers with as little as 20% deposit.

UK Finance: Tesco cut prices in the Republic of Ireland

Concerned by shoppers from the Republic of Ireland flocking across the border to Northern Ireland supermarkets to buy the same produce cheaper, due to the devaluing pound against the euro, Tesco have cut prices in their border stores on 12,500 items.
