A report in the Sunday Times suggests that the UK Government is already considering plans to sell off the nationalised bank Northern Rock at the earliest opportunity although their are no formal discussions with potential buyers taking place currently.

Following yesterdays Budget report, the following information regarding changes to personal taxation has been compiled by Michael Martin Partnership.
Personal Allowances 2009-10
These remain as announced in the Pre-Budget report November 2008. From the 6 April 2009 the income tax personal and age related allowances are increased to:

UK Finance: Buy an electric car, save the planet and money
